Event Description

The Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series (AFCS) is the pinnacle event for teams in the Alliance Fastpitch Member Leagues. The top finishing teams from each Member League will face off in a college softball post season format at the AFCS and battle it out for the title of National Champion.

The 2025 16u and 18u AFCS will be hosted by Bullpen Tournaments in Westfield, Indiana. The event will run Sunday, July 20^th (Day 0) to Sunday, July 27^th (National Championship Series). Competition begins on Monday July 21^st. Qualified teams can receive their invite code by reaching out to Julie Whiteaker (julie@thealliancefastpitch.com) with Alliance. 

In both divisions, the Series begins with a ‘Regional Format’ where all teams will be placed in a six-team pool that leads into a ‘Super Regional’ for each Tier. The top 8 teams from each Tier will then advance into an Elite 8 that emulates the WCWS. The final 2 teams in each Tier will face off in a best-of-three National Championship Series.

* The following parties are eligible for discounted passes:

• Ages 7-12 (ages 6 & under are FREE)
• Ages 65+
• Military/First Responders (valid ID needed) 

** Gate passes are available for purchase at all venues during the entire week (no pre-purchase option). Passes can be utilized at each facility.

*** Gate fees are non refundable. Bullpen Tournaments will do everything we can to play all scheduled games.**

Teams earn their way to the AFCS through League play in one of the Alliance Fastpitch Member Leagues – Pacific Coast Fastpitch League, Heart of America Fastpitch League, Northwest Fastpitch League, Northeast Fastpitch League, Rocky Mountain Fastpitch League, Atlantic Coast Fastpitch League, Southeastern Fastpitch League, Texas Fastpitch League or Central Fastpitch League.

League teams will compete in existing events from various event hosts and accrue points in the Alliance Rating System. Teams are seeded into Regionals through the National Seeding Committee based on their season’s body of work including their rating, strength of schedule and top finishes.

** Violators are subject to a $500 fine.
